Is naturally cloudy and glows maroon in the glass. The taste is reminiscent of vanilla, cinnamon and roasted malt aromas. Dense on the palate and particularly spicy in the after drink. Awarded the Word Beer Cup in Bronze 2012 and the European Beer Star in Bronze 2012.

Poured very cloudy and a nearly indistiguishable brownish-red-something. The head hung arounf for freaking ever. It was far too malty and sweet for me.

Cloudy brown body with some slight orange showing through, a small off white cap was produced but didn’t last all that long, boring looking beer. Aroma is very, very sweet yeast and wheat, so sugary it smells like candy, the smell is an exact copy of dehydrated banana chips, yum, yum tasty smelling. Flavor is also fairly sweet, but watered down and not nearly as intense as the smell, wheat and yeast dominate which is to be expected in a dunkel, but there are none of the roasted malt or caramel that should be here, so very sweet tasting. Not a bad beer highly enjoyable but flavor was a touch off, but still tasted very good.

wow this is diffenitly better then expected... the pour was a hazy brownish red that produced a pillowy soft off white head that had great life! the aroma is wheat, banana and some subtle malts. the taste is wheaty, malty and some banana. the mouthfeel is incredibly soft and smooth as a babies ass goin down... i still cant help but think tho, this is there Hefe to a T, if it wasnt for the color! none the less a great friggin beer, easy drinking, top notch belches, diffently try this again! :)

Everything else is OK, but big chunks in my beer :( No good. i understand, that this type of beer should have less clarity, than some other, but his is too much for my vision. But I can't argue, that the taste is really good, a bit of chocolate and fruits, aroma is sweet and mouthfeel round and soft. Really good dunkel weiss.

Nice one. Clear brown color and medium soft head. Nice malty sweet aroma. Mild, but well balanced: malty with some chocolate, fruit and clove patches. Pleasantly sweet and malty aftertaste. Quite spicy. Good to drink.

murkey chestnut color with a puffy off white cap....geat hefe dunkle nose: lots of cloves, cinnamon, sweet malts. good lacing , very spritzy carbonation (bottle conditioned?) Peppery tongue from the natural effervessence, big whack of spices over the sweet malat...a very decent dunkle weiss.

After reviewing a string of plain- to down-right lousy-"lager, pale" beers, I felt that I deserved something of a reward. And while that would normally consist of something brutally bitter or hugely alcholic (or both!), I didn't want to punish my taste buds for their otherwise loyal service...! Re-discovered that I had this 500mL bottle stashed way in the back (and behind the water jug) in the `fridge, and had a good feeling that this would be just the trick.
And I was not mistaken. Lovely malty & banana/clove aroma -- very different from what I would normally associate with an amber-ish beer. I guess the big-ass head of foam should have tipped me off, eh? Regardless of any preconceived notions, this is a very fine beer, and represents one of the best beers of a style that I am only now starting to fully apreciate. Recommended.

Light medium brown color, slightly hazy, medium head. Light bodied dunkel weizen beer. Light malts and hops. Fruity, some banana and clove flavor. Light and refreshing. Lots of flavor. Mild taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is malty sweet with a touch of hop spiciness. Very drinkable

A great tasting beer with a strange hint of chocolate at the end.
