Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Dremel Classic Beer Mug an unfiltered and light hazy mid-brown/deep-copper coloured Festbier with a two fingers creamy and dense foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is light roasted malts, caramel and a touch of barnyard. The flavour is moderate sweety and toasted malts, caramel, biscuits, dried fruits, nuts and a noticeable honey feeling. The mouthfeel is crispy, sweety and a bit sticky. This medium bodied Festbier has a dry malty and fruity finish. A solid and pleasant Festbier from a tiny brewery in Oberfranken.
