500 ml capped bottle, as a 7.0 % ABV Chimera IPA. Poured a slight hazy rich golden-amber coloured IPA with a two fingers slightly beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Mid-sized carbonation. Some lacing. Many floating sediments. The aroma is mild sweety malts, mild aromatic hops, notes of honey. The flavour is sweety malts, strong floral hoppy bitterness, notes of licorice. The mouthfeel is creamy and quite smooth. This medium bodied ale has a dry hoppy bitter finish. A pleasant IPA.

Casked (as Chimera IPA, 6.7%). Honeyish golden colour with foamy white, longlasting head. Aroma is honey, nectar, hops and slight earthyness. Flavour is enormously flowery hops balanced up with some honey and spices. Spices and grass mainly dominate the aftertaste. A very pleasant one.

Bottle conditioned example at 7%. Smelt like it had been dry hopped - not a promising start. Pale gold with rocky head and good lacing - milod carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel, then what? There are hops there and big hops, but this fels too green to be good. A nice idea but.....

Bottle. Pale orange colour with a slim and steady white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste, nice big bitter finish. Some honey sweetness throughout. Slight alcohol warm at the end. Medium to full bodied. This is my sort of IPA, very drinkable, lots of tasty hops, decent amount of alcohol - very nice indeed.
