Pours clear topaz with a thick parchment head. Aroma delivers crisp, fresh malt plus tart and slightly sour apple. Flavor provides seriously tart, sour and sweet apple plus crisp malt and sea salt and just a touch of - hops? Herbs? Texture gives fair smooth body and perky fizz. Go with an original.

Pours a hazy golden colour with a slight orange hue. Frothy mild off-white head, average retention and very light lacing. Sourness nose with citrus notes (oranges, lemons), hints of salt, malt and coriander. Malty start to the taste with a sour middle and goes back down again to mild wheat and barley malts. A tad of saltiness lingers. Pretty good and very nice to try the oldest still-existing gose.

The beer pours a slightly hazed metallic gold colour with a white head that had the retention of a soft-drink. There is plenty of effervescence visible in the glass. The aroma is tart fruit, spices, and yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is very tart, with spices and salt thrown in. A better than average gose.

A murky yellow-orange colored beer with a big sudsy textured, white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. Settles into a thin pale ringlet. Light sour-citric nose. That profile is beautifully bolder in the tasting. Light, effervescent and rfrshing.

Opaque golden yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is weak, sour bread. As advised drank this very cold, which of course kills most of the taste. Taste is somewhat sour bread, interesting. Think I prefer Belgian geueze. (Neschwitz 201308?

(as Bauer Goedecke Döllnitzer Ritterguts Gose). Hazy yellow colour, nice white head, which lasts for long. Sour citric and yeasty aroma. Flavour is sour fruits with some flowery hops. Also some salty notes Long bitterish aftertaste.

Sampled RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. The second Gose of my life. Website of this beer is www.leipziger-gose.com . Cloudy pale golden colour. Hefeweizen and saltwater aroma. Moderately sour, milky and slightly salty flavour. A nice Gose.
