Really nice example of the style. Subtle but complex. restrained funk, frutiness, spices and salt combine to make a wonderfully refreshing tart brew.

Bottled (thanks after4ever!). Golden colour, small head. Aroma is honey, mild salty notes, rather much spices as well as some mild sweet notes. Flavour is sweet malts, mild salty notes, some slight zesty and sweet notes as well. Balanced and quite nice notes.

I bought this bottle at the brewery a month ago and stuck it in the fridge. When I opened it up, the first thing I thought was that it was skunked. Then I picked it up, looked at it into the light to see the hazy, orange straw color with a small head, and sniffed it again to realize there was no skunk. I don't know if it was my imagination. It does have a grassy hop aroma to it. The coriander is very subtle, just giving it a bit of spice to the nose. This is a very tart Gose, and very enjoyable. Medium body, acidic, sour and aggressive on the tongue. A little citrus and sweet to start and dries out in the finish. Well balanced. Very interesting in how it leaves a hint of salt on your lips that is a joy to lick off after every sip. I wish I was outside on a warm day while drinking this, but it's early June in Portland so the weather is crap. I've only had a couple Gose style beers before and this one is the best.

Had when it was about 80-85 outside, so it fit well .. pours out a hazy dark yellow .. light whiffs of wheat, honey, and berliner weisse like aromas .. . an interesting brew, not as bready as some gose i've had before but still quite refreshing! .. . My girl works at Hooters, in the kitchen.
