Pours super light with a white foamy head the dissipates quickly. Some haze. Peach never really comes through in the aroma it, a light maltiness is about it. Flavor had a bit of sourness and that's about it. I don't really get much peach and I don't get much wheat. Goes down smooth and light though. Not a lot of flavor development although I don't really see any flavors that could develop. Overall I didnt enjoy it.

This poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma is rotten peaches. The flavor is rather sour with peaches, lemons, and a hint of vinegar. This is the fat kid on the playground rejected by the berliners for being too fruity, and by the fruit beers for being too sour. Poor freak of nature!

I think this is only my second Berliner Weiss. And nice for it to come with the sweetening fruit. A bright golden colored beer with a small soapy textured, white head. Not much hang time. And no lacing. Light peaches in the nose. Bolder peaches and an offsetting tartness in the tasting. Well balanced. Effervescent and light.

I've passed on this beer for years. Today, I finally gave it a try - I wish I would've passed yet again. This beer tastes like lemon dish soap. I did not like it and will not have this again. DFH is one of my faves; however, this particular beer was a miss for me.

Cloudy, yellow/gold color with bright yellow highlights at the botom. Bright white, fizzy, soapy head with not much retention and minimal lacing. The head was gone pretty quick really. Found some sediment floating around at the bottom. I picked up noticeable hints of peach. Wheat and grain notes with a spiciness of coriander and pepper. A little bit of that "barnyard funk" that accompanies Saisons. Very sweet smelling. The peach flavor was definitely more prominent in the taste. A strong sourness. The spices are prevalent. Very sweet and somewhat distracting. Tastes like a sweet tart. Some of the chalkiness that comes along with a sweet tart. Medium bitterness. Medium/light mouthfeel. Mostly dry and smooth. Crisp and could be refreshing and thirst quenching under the right circumstances and if this is your style. Not a whole lot of flavor is left on the palate. I was a little disappointed with this brew. I usually really enjoy Dogfish, however this one was not for me. Too sweet and too sour. One of these would be all I could have. Probably won't visit this again for a while. I'm sure some like it, so they can have my share. As it warmed it did become more tolerable.

Deep golden with some hazy. Slightly tart citric notes in the aoma with with notes of yeast and peach juice. Light-bodied with acidic lemony notes, wheat and peach syrup. Crisp and tart finish of lemon and yeast.

I really wanted to like this beer and in small doses it is very refreshing but I have to say it is kinda like drinking lemon juice. It pours and extremely pale yellow and with a lot of carbonation and a fluffy white head. Not much going on in the aroma department apart from the hint of citrus. When you go for the taste it is all lemon, not even a hint of peach. I am wondering if I got an old four pack maybe it had sat around for a while but I will give it another chance and try again but up to this point it was so sour my stomach hurt.

Finally, after many months of longing for this beer, my guy at Perry’s carries it so I scooped up a sixer. Very refreshing, bright flavors with a assertive tartness that is quite quenching. The body is a cloudy light orange color, with a light fluffy white head. Subtle carbonation present. Aroma is light wheat with just a hint of sweetness. Flavor is crackling with tartness, and that’s the note that is most prononced. Very soft peach (almost like under-ripe peaches) with a jaw clenching finish. Mouthfeel is prickly and lively. Kudos to DFH.

If you like getting a taste of pure lemon juice when you're expecting something completely different, you might like this beer. After I read about berliner weisse on wikipedia, I had a better understanding for this beer. If you drink it through a straw really really fast and don't pay much attention to the weird face you'll make and the girls who run away because of it when you drink it, it's actually pretty good. I compare it to sucking a lemon. I don't know where they get the peach from.

Huge sour tart nose with a riesling type waft. Pours see thru sparkling yellow with almost no head but plenty of bubbles, the beer is almost clear. Balanced carbonation with a crisp finish a lighter body. I enjoy the flavor but honestly I don;t see where the peaches are... I might be missing something. Flavor is tart, intense and very white wine in nature. almost like a sparkling beer if you will. There is some subtle notes of peach on the back when ti warms up a tad. I really enjoy this. Just wish for more peach up front....
