American Beauty is a collaboration with our friends the Grateful Dead, and is brewed with granola and succulent wildflower honey. Golden amber in color, this hoppy pale ale’s got sweet, malty and toasty notes with floral aromas of citrus, marzipan, honey and melon. Clocking in at 6.5% ABC (to mark the year the Grateful Dead was formed, 1965), American Beauty’s going on a reunion tour and it’ll be available throughout 2019.

Pours clear amber with a thick and frothy ivory head. Aroma yields piney hops, fresh malt and a hint of pomme. Flavor adds a little bitterness to the hops, and some sweetness to the pomme component. Texture provides fair fizz and body. A beauty indeed.
