Definite honey-like sweetness, though i can't say if there's really any honey. otherwise a pretty non-descript lightly hopped (think hay) lager. Not that bad, but definitely nothing special either. refreshing enough on a hot day.

Poures a very golden color with a very large white head that dissipated rather quickly, and appears to have heavy carbonation. The aroma was of honey and grassy notes. The taste was extremely sweet with a hint of honey. The mouthfeel was thin and fizzy.

Pours like your typical adjunct lager. Nose is loaded with adjuncts. The head didn't stick around for long, and it left minimal lacing on the sides of the glass. Very little malt present.

It pours golden-yellow with thick and dimpled white-head and copious lace. A rough aroma of sour malts, hops, lemon and spices. The mouthfeel is thin and breaks too fast. Flavors of sour malts, hops, lemon, some funk, and mildly spicy. Not too good, I like the bottle though.

Dixie pours a clear golden body, with plenty of carbonation, thin fizzy head with some lace. aroma of honey, and some grassy notes. Flavor isnt good, mostly metallic presence, and some odd bitterness.

This beer poured a clear golden color with a frothy white head and good carbonation. The aroma was overly bland. The flavor was heavy in rice and other adjuncts and had a watery mouthfeel.

Pale golden color. rather nice honeyish aroma, but after that the fun is over. Thin and fizzy and with not much bitterness. .

I have to be in the Big Easy to sample this and I usually only have a couple to say I had them. It's way too light for my taste (and has very little taste). Slightly below average by all accounts.

A sub-par beer, (not suprisingly) brewed by Huber for Dixie: Pours golden colour, grainy texture and very malty. Pear, soft citrus fruit and grain in the taste. not impressed at all.

Not a very good beer. Leave this one for the locals and drink your favorite.
