An amber appearance with a white head. The aroma is a bit spicy with some dark fruit, molasses, and alcohol. The flavor contains some raisins, chocolate, spices, and a bit of alcohol. Overall a pretty good "Belgian"

this Dicks had a red orangey color, clear, some head. Aroma had saffron type spice notes, crisp, and peachy too....heavy candi sugar taste off the bat, a drawn out bitterness follows. Alcohol shows in the aftertaste. Very crisp beer.... lt/medium bodied and a Filling mouthfeel...Some nice fruity/floral flavors like strawberry, plum in the background. crisp. A little rough around its edges, not so mellow but for $1.50, ill have another

Poured a hazy, orange amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, yeast, nuts, some cardboard, and citrus fruits. Taste of more nuts, caramel, toffee, citrus, some dark fruits, which finished tart, with some acidity, and yeast as well.

I can't believe that I got this at only $6 a six-pack. So yeah, 12oz bottle. Pours an almost soupy looking cloudy dark amber (lemme see if I can find a few more adjectives...) with very little head and minimal lacing. Scent is okay, fruits and cloves but nothing special, and the scent is faint. Flavor definately becomes more complex as it warms. Cherries, apricots, and other fruits are present. It's also got a woodsy taste. Caramel, apples, spices... What the heck did they put in this thing, anyway? Oh yeah, and the alcohol certainly becomes more present as it warms as well. Palate is *really* thick, with just enough carbonation to keep it interesting. Overall, it's definately worth trying. I'm gonna go grab some more and see how it ages. Put this one on your "must try" list.

Medium amber color. Small to no head. Aroma is apples, malt, alcohol and candi sugar. A medium to light bodied Belgian Strong Ale. Taste is apples, candi sugar, with a touch of coriander. Very slight carbonation. Very slight carbonation. Touch of alcohol. This beer sort of grows on you. It starts off very cider-like and it has a lot of beer like qualities but they are hard to define precisely. The touch of alcohol bite sort of sneaks up on you. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, with a touch of alcohol and apples.

This beer poured with a medium head that lasted and left some lacing. The Aroma was floral and malty. The appearance was an orangish-amber. The mouthfeel was soft and somewhat light on the palate. The flavor started out as spiced-tea and malt and was followed by plum, raisen and dried fruit. It finished with a alcohol kick a a hint of malt. Although the alcohol was present throughtout, at 10% ABV, was not overbearing until the end. Definitely a sipping brew.
