It is hard to get excited about pale lagers and blonde ales. This one is no exception. It pours a clear light gold and is topped by a snow white bubbly cap. The aroma is grassy malts, musty hops, and weak yeast. Mouthfeel? Thin to average. Flavor? What flavor? It tastes like your typical malt forward blonde ale.

Seems like, given others descrispions, this may not have been the freshest? Still not bad, but lacking the crisp clean hop bite and body that can make a beer stand out in this style. This was well balanced, slight sweetness and grass, but forgettable.

Thanks to Brett for this Pilsner. A clear golden pour with a decent head and very nice lacing. Good carbonation. Slightly sweet malts with some grassy notes giving way to a decent hops nose in the aroma. Taste is similar to the aroma with a slightly sweet maltiness followed by a bit of hops bitter. A nice pils and extremely easy to drink - smooth.

Clear, gold and HIGHLY effervescent, this is a perfect beer for a hot summer day. The taste is surprisingly crisp and light with just the right amount of hoppiness. I rarely drink this type anymore, favoring ales and stouts, but for its type, I would say Diamond Bear has yet another winner. And who could resist a southern blonde anyway? ;o)

Thanks to Brett for this beer!! Poured a clear Yellow with a nice thick white head. This was a nice pils. Had a nice maltiness to it and I could for sure kick back and drink these hanging out on a nice spring day. Good flavor, good beer.

Another one tried thanks to Brett. Pours a nice clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is light with a mix of hop and malts. Flavor is full and clean with an excellent hop presence. Definitely one of the best Czech pils I've had. So far I'm really impressed with Diamond Bear.

Bottle. Poured a clear, pale-yellow color with a very thick, white head. Excellent lacing. Grassy and lightly hopped aroma. Crisp, clean, malty flavor with a nice bitter finish. A pretty good pilsner.

Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is grainy and slightly sweet, a touch medicinal. A medium bodied blonde ale. Malts are very sweet and taste of honey. Hops are slightly spicy. There is a slight buttery taste and a touch of honey flavor. DAMN! No wonder this stuff taste like honey, its contract brewed by Gluek!! But, as blonde ales goes this one is at least sort of drinkable. Slightly too sweet, but not all that objectionable. Mouthfeel is medium. Finish is clean and crisp. Finish is sweet.

Sampled from bottle. Pours clear gold with a lasting white head and nice lacing. Aroma is grassy, spicy hops and a bit of malt. Flavor is slightly bitter with an adequate malt backbone and more grassy, spicy hops. Light to medium-bodied, well-carbonated and easy to drink. A good session beer that I'd certainly drink again.

Pours deep gold and clear with tall, foamy head and visibly active carbonation. The bouquet features floral hops and spices, predominantly pepper. The refreshing flavor contains no fruit esters or sweetness, but rather emphasizes a clean, crisp, unharsh bitterness, that, appropriately, does not linger. Light-bodied with moderate carbonation. My second Diamond Bear beer and I'm still impressed with the little Arkansas brewery.
