Dark brown color with red highlights. A full body beer with rich roasted malt and chocolate notes. It finishes with good hop, creamy toffee and caramel followed by delicate coffee notes and smooth chocolate aftertaste.

Dark black color with a beige head. Aroma contains some chocolate and coffee. The flavor contains some chocolate, coffee, and caramel. Palate is a bit thin. Overall a decent beer.

Pours out 100% black with a medium tan head. The aroma has a note of smoke. The mouthfeel is a little above average. The taste is of dark chocolate, malt and light molasses. Not a great beer but with out a doubt the best Mexican beer I have ever drank.

No delicate coffee or roasted malts here, just an overbearing and rather unpleasant abundance of caramel. WTF? Tasted and smelled off. Not sure what's going on. Didn't finish.

Love the bottle - I’ll save it for a Halloween decoration next year. Smoky aroma has notes of roast malt and burnt wood. It pours a deep sable with a thick, though not persistent, tan head. Flavor is rather thin, smoky and malty with a snip of molasses but that’s all. Texture is on the thin side and barely fizzy. OK, not great, but palatable. Get your muerte on.

The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that died down rather quickly, leaving some light lacing on the glass.Light to moderate aromas of dark and chocolate malts.Flavors of dark and chocolate malts along with some hints of lactose towards the finish. No bitterness is perceptible.Light- to medium-bodied and slightly thin body with a moderate amount of carbonation.

A dark chocolate brown body with a 1" creamy dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate, raisins, a bit of red/black licorice. Medium sweetnes up front with some nice roasted malt flavor. Medium finish, bitter malts lingers a bit. Solid beer at a great buy.
