This was better than the stout they had on tap, more stouty too. Smells of roasty malts, butter and nuts. Deep deep amber black color with a nice foamy head. almost burnt roast flavor with a creamy butteryness, very nice beer.

Sampled on draught at the Brewhaus. Poured a dark mahogany colour. Decent sized head. Toasty with some noticeable bourbon notes. Creamy and super smooth, not too rich but very filling.

This porter is a medium bodied dark and lovely colored pour with nice lacing that stayed in the glass. I haven't had much experience with porters and was pleased with the overall taste of this one. It seemed to have more hops than the other delafield offerings giving it a slightly bitter but pleasing aftertaste.

One of 9 Delafield brews sampled with HeddyMuggz recently at the brewhaus, and one of the better ones. Deep mahogany with ruby highlights. Moderate head leaving great curtains of lacing. Herbed, yeasty aroma and flavors of roasted malts. Not overly sweet, with a slightly bitter finish.
