Clear brown pour, creamy beige head. Malty aroma with some nut presence, and so was the flavour. Average mouth. Basically just a bland beer. These were freebies (good thing).

Found in their Winter Mixer pack at The Beer Store, now under "Nut Brown". Pours a deep copper brown colour with a nice creamy light-beige head, good retention and some soapy lacing. Mild nutty malt aromas, but mostly red ale malts, with notes of roasted malts. Mild chocolate malt taste with some roastiness to it. Very light hops, but efficient. Pretty mild overall, but creates an easy-drinking nut brown.

Dark brown body with a noisy 1” cap and the custom made bottle with the road killed frog cast into the side is a nice touch. Nutty chocolaty aroma with some sour soap and just a touch of fine ground coffee. Very rich malty taste with roasted elements more light chocolate and coffee with a mild dry bitter finish. Noticing a mild hop bite. This is a good beer I was pleasantly surprised.

    Ahhh... afternoon beer!
Poured out a small light tan head that has pretty good retention and some random lacing, nice brown body. Well, I really had to let this warm for the aroma to seep out. Roasted malts, dusty chocolate, weak (thankfully) but coffee that is noticeable in the background. Comes across somewhat flavourless and I've noticed that quality before in Browns. Roasted malts, some berry sweetness, mild hops. Then, sometimes I get a bunch of flavour if I look. Finishes nice with drying cardboard bitterness. Needs work.
