De Dolle Lichtervelds Blond

Bottle: Poured a dirty blonde color ale with a super huge foamy head with great retention and some very good lacing (like all De Dolle beers for that matter). Aroma consists of light funky yeast ester with light sweet malt, rustic notes and some subtle green floral notes which surprised me considering the age of the bottle. Taste is complex though still easily drinkable with great notes of funky ester, solid malt backbone with light residual sugar notes and quite green hops finish. Body is full with limited filtration with perfect carbonation and no alcohol was perceptible. Very well brewed and another winner from De Dolle that they should considers brewing again.

Hazy golden with a rich pillowy white foam. Very fruity and yeasty aroma of pine-apples, apricot, dried oranges and grass. Well-balanced flavour of mango, pine-apples, orange-peels and grassy subtle hops. Fine and long final of white bread, wet grass and apricot with the De Dolle yeast in the background. Really nice Strong Golden.

Poured a lightly cloudy, orange gold color with a large, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruits, green apple, some vanilla, tart grape, and some yeast. Taste of apples, and citrus fruits. Starts sweet, and finishing tart with a fair amount of alcohol.

Pours with a cloudy golden body topped by a medium thick to thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and citrusy with a slight yeastiness and some underlying spice. Medium bodied, slightly dry and warming.

cloudy dark orange colour, fine creamy head and a beautiful lacing, aroma of orange peal and bread with some spicy notes, creamy mouthfeel, full-bodied, very strong bitterness, long dry and bitter aftertaste of orange peal and spices with a touch of alcohol - not the most complex of the De Dolle brews but marvelously made and deeply pleasant !
