I've had a few of their beers, and loved them all. This was one that I had wanted to try, so got to try a small sample on tap in a flight. More of a golden and lighter-bodied ales. Flavors of a farmhouse saison...grassy, wheaty, etc. This isn't really one of my preferred styles for a Belgian, but worth the try.

This poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons, spices, honey, and biscuit. The flavor is malty but a sour presence is there. I am getting some citrus, spices, and more biscuit. The aftertaste is slightly sour with a bit of alcohol heat. Overall a nice but not great beer.

It pours a light and hazy burnt-orange/amber with a bubbly white head and some spotty lacing. A sweet and fruity aroma of apples, oranges, peaches, mango, banana, and spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, silky, and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, peaches, apples, oranges, mango, and spices. Excellent!!

Pours a nice, slightly hazy yellow-amber with a VERY thick off-white head that is quite frothy and sticks around for a while. Be careful when pouring this or you’ll get foam from hell to breakfast! Aroma is not strong, but it is pleasingly malty and fruity and a little yeasty. Fruity, malty flavor has a surprisingly hoppy and bitter undertone. Sublime texture is silky smooth on the outside and lively and fizzy on the inside so it slides down the pipes easily yet leaves a nice tingle behind. Love them Belgians!

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, and HaandBryggeriet who imports it to Norway. Deep golden colour, big to moderate head. Distinct hoppy aroma with floral notes. ABV is 8%. Alcohol is well hidden. The flavour has the characteristic sharp bitterness of Nugget hops from start to finish. After a few beers of the "well rounded" and "fruity and acidic" kind, this was just what I needed. More "American" than Belgian, perhaps.

This is a style I am unable to figure out. Is it supposed to be dark brown, is it supposed to be hazy gold? You tell me. This one is hazy orange with a thin tight white head. The aroma was yeasty, with some hops in the background. The taste was iffy. Nowehere as good as the aroma would indicate. The malt bite was quite weak and the hops hidden.

This Belgian Strong Ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. A frelling huge sized , long lasting white fluffy and foamy head. The aroma is yeasty, spicy and fruity. A medium bodied BSA. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of yeast and spice flavors. The hops are floral. It starts out sweet and finishes fairly dry. Nice beer, if you have the time for the head to subside. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet

What an absolutely delightful looking concoction: A big frothy white head that ever so slowly melts into a sort of bubbly cream; a dark, cloudy orange color with some whosiwhatzits floating around in it and resting on the bottom. Leaves some light lacing on the glass. Smells kind of yeasty. Tastes fruity (like apples, apricots, and grapes) but not very sweet, and some spices (like pepper). Leaves some bitterness for an aftertaste. I really do like these Belgian strong ales quite a bit, and at 2 bucks a bottle, I'll probably be picking up a bunch of these next time I make the 80 mile drive into "town."

Slight gushing of the bottle when the top was popped off, after foaming issue was situated this beer poured with a hazy old golden body topped off by a towering off white head. The aroma is very yeasty and slightly sweet with some spicey tones as well. The mnouthfeel was medium bodied and fairly drinkable though still fairly overcarbonated. The flavor was very nice with lots of bready belgian yeast, pepper, faint citrus, honey and a soft fruity flavor of apple and pear in the finish.
