Pours with a slightly cloudy golden body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s slightly sweet with notes of banana and yeast with a hint of lemon. A little lacking in flavor. Light bodied and crisp.

Murky golden pour with a thick white head. Nose is full of clove. Great rendition that is very true to style. Definitely not one of the Ameri-weizens that have given the style a bad rap. Tangy with hints of banana and clove.Medium light body that has some bubble gummy flavors coming through as it warms. An very nice summer brew!

I had this beer on tap last year at the Anthill Pub on the campus of the University of California, Irvine This hefe has a great banana/clove nose. The flavor is nice & refreshing but lacks the crispness that I’d expect. All in all, it’s a good heffy
