    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

375 ml capped bottle, as a 5.4 % ABV, bought at the brewery. Poured an unfiltered opaque rich burgundy, close to black, coloured Stout with a one finger tan foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. A lot of floating sediments. The aroma is moderate toasted malts, cocoa powder, smoke, ashes and notes of fruits. The flavour is burned grainy malts, heavy minty leaves, fruity, plums, cocoa powder and significant notes of wood. The mouthfeel is sparkling, fresh and smooth. This medium bodied Sout has a long minty and malty finish. A fresh tasting Stout from a tiny brewery located in the Barolo wineyards in the Italian Piemont.
