The Red Racer ‘Spirited’ series gives a new take on the classic Old-Fashioned whisky cocktail. Blending Lohin McKinnon single malt whisky with our house-made bitters, orange peels and cherries makes this pale ale worth sneaking out for. Like an Old-Fashioned, expect strong notes of orange peel and orange zest, with a hint of malt sweetness, a kiss of whisky, and garnished with a cherry.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
Pours a clean amber colour with a golden-orange hue. The head is big, frothy, light-beige, long lasting and leaves small spotted lace. Big orange peel nose with some whisky notes and hints of cherries. The mouthfeel is wet, on the thicker side and dryness is fairly mild. Flavours are good, but milder than the aromas. The sweetness of the fruits and some light whisky malts. Because of this milder side, not too rich and this helps the drinkability. Quite an interesting good blend of things.
