Brewed with elderflower. Saison Cazeau is a light white beer, refermented in the bottle, with 5% alcohol content. As well as the Pilsen malt and two hops which give it a really nice bitter flavour, Saison is laced with elderflowers (Sambucus Nigra L.) which make it really refreshing. The elderflower only blooms for three weeks between mid-May and mid-June, which means that production of our Saison is very time-limited.

750 capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered, gushing and strong hazy golden-yellow coloured Saison with a huge two fingers slightly beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is heavy woods, elderflowers, intense spicy, coriander, pepper and flowery hops. The flavour is yeast, pale malts, grass, spicy, pepper, coriander and strong flowery hops. The mouthfeel is light crispy, quite dry and hoppy bitter. This light to medium bodied Saison has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. A pleasant and very refreshing Saison, founded on the hoppy way.

Bottle: Poured a hazy pale yellow color ale with a rather large pure white foamy head with great retention and very good lacing. Aroma of floral notes with a rather dry finish. Taste is also dominated by some floral notes with some strange spices notes and some bready malt. Line seems be blurred between hops and those dominant floral ester. Body is about average with great carbonation. Very well done if maybe a tad too dry which cut into the refreshing factor of this beer.
