330 ml swingtop bottle, as Caulier Bon Secours Blonde de Noël, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, clear first, cloudy when the yeast is poured in the end. white head. Aroma of Belgian ale yeast, yellow fruits and spices, white kandij sugar syrup. Medium sweet and quite spicy flavour, noticeable hops. Warming mouthfeel.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty golden color ale with a small foamy head with no retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of loads of candi sugar with some dry hops. Taste is a mix between some gross sweet malt notes and loads of candi sugar with a weird metallic hoppy finish. Minimal carbonation with no apparent alcohol and a full oily body. I have to say that I was disappointed by this overly sweet beer that is badly missing some balance.

Bottled. Hazy nutbrown colour with sediments floating around. Big white creamy head, which leaves lacing. Strong alcohol and sour apple in aroma. Almost like vodka mixed with sour applejuice. Flavour almost the same, but the yeast in it smoothens the sweet alcohol out a bit. Warming alcohol alone in finish though. Aftertaste becomes more to the sour appleish. Also some spices as it gets a bit warmer. Quite nicely balanced as for the flavour, but the aroma is not the best in my opinion.

A hazy golden beer with a bit of sediment floating around under a thin bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit and alcohol and lesser notes of spices and some oxidation - even though it is wihtin the best before date. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit, cork (even though it is not corked), and alcohol, as well as medium notes of spices, leading to a dry fruity finish. One powerful beer - I wonder how it is very fresh, mine is I guess 1½ years old, yet within the best before date.
