It's better than most Mexican beer, however for being an Americna Wheat is a little lame. I expecte dmore from a Wheat beer but We have to keep in mind this kind of beers are not well drinkied in the country.

They grow wheat in Mexico? Full disclosure: I'm not a wheat beer fan. I know my body will be singing tomorrow. But it's worth it for a good one. Cool lable and I like the shape of the bottles. I'd love to know if there's a reason for the interesting shape other than marketing. Pours a straw-gold with a nice head. Little lacing. Smells and tastes like a wheat without as much fruit as many, but it's till pretty good. Moutfeel is average. Drinkability is above average because I like it better than most wheat beers I've had.

Odd. I think whoever bought a four-pack of Casta at the liquor store before me must also be a beer-geek. The four-pack of Casta Pale Ale actually had two pale's, a scottish dark, and a wheat -- just the trick for getting a good prepresentative sampling of what Casta has to offer!
After some misgivings about the fact that the bottle cap was way-too easy to pop off (with very little to none of the classic fizz-sound), this beer's carbonation turned out to be just fine. Perhaps a bit lacking compared to most wheat ales, but satisfactory.
This strikes me as fairly typical American-style Wheat Ale (vice it's German equivelent). Rather nuetral, no funky banana/clove notes -- much cleaner than many wheat beers, of any style.
As far as the taste, again, we're talking about something that doesn't go out it's way, but doesn't neccesarily play it safe, either. Nice bouyant body, that fits the style, and makes it quite quaffable.
I can totally see drinking this on a beach, and tossing both my pager *and* a bottle of Corona into the beautiful lagoon...!

Medium gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied American wheat. Malts are mild, fruity and sweet. Nice banana and clove flavor. Also a touch of grapefruit and orange flavor as well. Nice decent wheat ale. Light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Appearance: This is a dark yellow, filtered wheat beer w/ a quickly diminishing white head. Flavor: It has a slight taste of hops & malt, with some sting to the roof of your mouth. Aroma: I couldn't detect any. Overall: This would make a decent lawnmower beer. Nothing special here

Bottle. Poured a clear golden colour, with an initially large but rapidly settling down, white head. Aroma is cloves, a bit wheaty, maybe a bit citrusy. Taste - well its interesting, I'm trying this straight after a nice bottle of Hacker Pschorr Hefe Weisse, so it's a big ask: But it's pretty good; sweet and spicey, crisp, smooth and nicely mellow with a good mouthfeel.

Orange golden color with a bubbly fluffy white head. Dry and wheaty, with some citrus in the aroma. Very refreshing citrus, also some wheat and yeast tastes as well. This was really nice.
