(Bottle, bought in Sweden, where this much weaker Carnegie version is sold in grocery stores. The ordinary 5.6% ABV Carnegie (Stark) Porter is sold in Systembolaget stores only). Remarkably different from the stronger version - slightly paler colour, weaker aroma, considerably thinner body, flavour seems sweeter, lacks bitterness. Of course it's drinkable - but the full strength version is the way to go!

Clear dark ruby red with light brown foam head. Aroma is mixture of caramel with some coffee/cigar. Taste is a decent porter, nice 'brown' aftertaste. (Göteborg 201307)

courtesy of Domtom - clear and very dark brown colour with a giant creamy beige head; soapy and metallic aroma, decent roastiness and notes of raisins; thin-bodied and moderately sweet; the finish is slightly salty and terribly watery - a whole bottle of nothing

Dark red/black colour with brownish head. Not much aroma just weak sweetness of raisins(?) and coffee. Malty kind of caramellish flavour (like coca cola with no carbonation and sweetness). The "big percent" one is wat better!
