Wow. Orange hued with tons of carbonation. Zesty aromas of lemon and citrus with a musty undertone contributed to the apricots. Velvety texture with high acidity yet easily drinkable. Massively tart flavors - lemon and tangerine with a strong apricot finish. One of the finer lambics.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Cloudy golden colour, white head. Intense and lovely aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse and apricots. Sour flavour, notes of lemons, apricot and brettanomyces.

Pours opaque dark apricot with a nice ivory head. Aroma features tart and sweet tropical and citrus fruit plus crisp raw malt. Flavor offers sharply taet tropical, pomme and citrus with raw malt. Texture provides good body and fizz with a tart fruity finish. Cantillon-y.

2011 batch - wish list cross off. BIG fruit aroma and flavor...definitely not subtle with the apricot, but it's more than balanced out by the sourness that while not overaggressive, gets me in the back o the jaw after a few sips. light bodied and refreshing while also being quite tasty and complex.

First pour before before I add the sludge, beer appears like golden apple juice with a tall very fizzy very noisy crown. Couldn't wait for the aroma I needed a sip.....super dry and super puckering. First aroma I hit was sour pear with a touch of egg. The egg has vanished and morphed into an apple. I'm not detecting the apricot as strongly as I thought I would, its there but it mingles in with the other fruit aromas. The aroma has a funk and I like it. Taste is so dry and tart...................lip smacken good. Apple, funk, leather, apricot, the sour lingers perfectly on the tongue. This is an easy beer to drink. Light bready malts seem to keep the sour in check......but I think the sour is winning. Took a 20min beer break and the after taste seemed to turn to vinegar. Just poured the last half of the bottle and beer looks tan/grey/ and not clear at all. Aroma has much more pronounced and sweeter apriocot now. And WOW!! the taste got 10X more funky and sour. Strange aroma got milder but the taste got harsher. I like the funk so much in this beer not to harsh not to mild. Great beer!!

Big thanks to Suds McDuff for sharing, Aromas of fruits, peach, apricot, floral notes, and some wood. A rather appealing hazy yellow/ orange body with a thin, yet lace leaving head. Fruit presence isnt as strong in the taste, but a slight funk appears, with a nice sourness, dry finish. Good brew for sure, wish i had some more.

. What if we hold his nose shut? .. had this a few times .. pours a hazy orange. . good foam, even better lacing . . quite a tart brew, with only a dash of peach .. Then he'll breath through his mouth. .. A great brew that i hope doesn't disappear .. .What if we hold his nose and mouth shut? -- I think that's called murder. ..

Bottle: Poured a pale hazy yellow color lambic with a huge pure white foamy head with good retention and some great retention. Aroma of sour and tart notes are dominant and somewhat off-set by some light fruity apricot. Taste is a wonderful mix between some light apricot, some tart and sour notes with some well balanced acidity. Body is quite full with great carbonation. Very well made with a great balance between some tart notes with some fruit and well balanced acidity.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white sparkling head. Aroma is concentrated sourness along with wood and fruits. Flavour is very much the same with some slight fruity notes lurking behind the sourness. Dry to the extreme.

Bottled in 2004, poured a golden color with a flat head, no lacing (probably left the glassware squeeky clean, these cantillon guys). The aroma was funk, leather, peaches, and apricots. The flavor followed the aroma, strong initial tartness, peaches, citrus notes, funky horseblankets / brett, and traces of wheat under it all. The mouthfeel was strongly acidic (surprise), leaves the mouth squeeky clean. One of the stronger fruit presences in a Cantillon, yet still darned Cantillon-like in tartness. Rather refreshing.
