Our inspiration for the perfect American Pale Ale came from California, the birthplace of the APA style, where the sun, sand, and waves go hand-in-hand with great beer. Presented at 5.1% Alc/Vol, with vibrant and pronounced tropical fruit-inspired hop varieties, this anytime beer is an all-day crowd pleaser. California Sunshine APA has a brilliant straw colour and golden hue, supporting a white webbing of creamy head. Pronounced citrus character dives forward with hints of pine, lime, and grapefruit. The juiciness of the hops rounds out the delicate body, leaving a hint of tartness to cleanse the palate. Pairs well with any meal of the day.

Pours a large frothy white head and dissipates to a thin cap. Has a pale golden appearance. Thick patchy lacing. Aromas of sweet malts, barley and citrus hops. Crisp citrus hop flavours with some sweet malts. Also some cereal malts and grassy hop notes. Fairly bitter in the finish. Average retention. Pretty decent brew.

Single bomber from the LCBO. Pours a medium golden colour with a frothy white cap, good retention and loads of foamy lace. Average hoppy nose of citrus and grass at first. Then, cereal grain appears. Nice bitterness in the mouth with a little dry finish and bitterness gaining ground in the aftertaste. Refreshing overall, this is a nice American Pale Ale.

The beer pours a translucent pale gold colour with a generous white head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma is grains, and plenty of citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is hop forward with lots of juicy citrus/grapefruit notes and some grass. Quite sessionable.
