Keg & Bottle; Helles and Pilsner combine – the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. It’s pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, it’s how a great lager should taste.

August 2017: 330 ml bottle at The Wild Boar, Aberdeen. ABV is 4.6%. Hops are Perle and Hallertauer Tradition. Extremely pale straw colour, white head. Strong aroma of newmown grass. The flavour is slightly sweet with some bittering hops. Not great.
