I liked it, but like many of the beers I tasted at Rowlands, i feel they innacuratrely represent their styles. Clear dark reddish colour, medium sized tan head. Aroma is stern, dark fruit and carmel. Subtle caramel and bread in the taste. soft sweet lightly carbonated mouth feel. Slightly watery in the finish.

This Octoberfest poured to a deep orange color. It is lightly carbonated which was unsual for a beer of this type. Its taste had a caramely/nutty note. Again not what I expected from an Octoberfest beer. I could also taste a hit of roasted malt.. Beer finished clean with an excent of malt. It is something different and not bad. I would try it again.
