Although, the traditional Hell style is filtered, the philosophy at Buergerbrauerei is that beer tastes best when served in its natural state.

Medium size white head, noisey, decent retention. Hazy gold color. Light toasty malt nose with a delicate hop spiceyness. Medium body, spritzy on the tongue. Bready malt, light hop flavors. Finishes dry with a crisp hop bite

This is a cloudy lager......not digging the look. The aroma is spicy with some grainy malt tones mixed in. The flavour is scrumptious however, a nice balance of malt, hops, and spices.

This is a lager done right. The aroma is full of flowery noble hops with the promise of malt to come. The flavor is seriously malty in the way that I like pale beers to be. The flavor is a little doughy. Not really very bitter though. I wasn't expecting the body to be hazy but the dark golden body is hazy. The head is lively and large, Burgerbrau must like carbonation. Very good Helles.

Bottle. Golden color with a thin head and tons of lacing. Aroma is very fresh hay and grass. Taste is oh so smooth. Flavors of rich maltiness and light banana. Finally a German beer I really enjoy.

Aroma of pears, oranges, and wheat. Appearance is a murky yellow/orange with excellent head and lacing. A full bodied lager with hops and fruit in the flavor. Creamy texture and a pleasure to drink. This was a bargin at under $3 a 24oz and it shall work well to wash the horrible taste out of my mouth caused by the last nasty beer I sampled.

Recently had this at a bar. I enjoyed it but nothing really stands out in my mind. I'll have to try it again.

Nice pale straw color. Good amount of carbonation. Reminds me a little bit of Becks, but is a bit better.
