I was very pleased when I popped open this growler. If I haven't mentioned it before, I really, really like this brewpub. Pours a near clear golden yellow, with a slight haze to it, and a couple floaties. There's a thick head from a rough pour, with plenty of carbonation. Aroma is lightly citrussy, like lemon peel, with a sweet and crisp aroma as well. Very appetizing. First sip brings a nice spiciness and bitterness, along with some great citrussy lemon peel flavors. Licking the lips after drinking a pint gives you a great hoppy bitter taste, excellent. Flavor is really great, with crisp clean mouthfeel. I really enjoyed this Pils to say the least. Too bad they don't bottle and distribute in CT, they'd make a fortune off of me.

I got this in a growler that was filled from a 1/6th keg, so I'm sure it wasn't as fresh as could be. It had a little bit of white head and a little lacing. The growler probably degraded it. The beer is a very clear, pale gold. The aroma is hoppy, grassy and a little farm-like. I'd almost dare say it has hints of marijuana! There is some malt in the flavor, but mostly a medium level bitterness of grassy hops, with a little lemon. It's pretty smooth and easily drinkable, leaving only a little lingering bitterness, enough to tease you towards your next sip. A keg of this would do well at a summer picnic.

Poured a hazy gold with a small white head. Light citrus, taste, mild hop aroma. Bready, lightly hoppy, nice crisp finish.
