Our Kellerbier is made in the German style that is traditionally matured in un-bunged wooden barrels in caves. The lower alcohol and low carbonation accent the balance between the generous amounts of German malts and hops used to make this beer. Surprisingly thirst quenching, this beer goes wonderfully with many different food styles—or by itself. Prosit! (Cheers!)

Bottled at SBWF. Pours out in ahazy amber colour with rich long-lasting white foam. Malty aroma of burnt caramel with notes of grass and roasted malts. Roasted malts, grass, herbs and caramel in the flavour with a dryish mouthfeel. Long spicy bitter finish with notes of citric fruits.

Bottled@SBWF2007. Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is mainly earthy grassy and slightly hoppy. Flavour is dry grassy and earthy with some bready hints. Pleasant and refreshing.

This beer poured with a cloudy dark copper colored body topped off by a very tall, thick slightly off white head that was very rocky, lasted throughout the beer and left great rings of lace. The aroma is sweet caramel malts with some spicy hops as well. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, smooth and very drinkable. Harpoon Kellerbier starts out with a floral hoppy flavor balanced out with some caramel and nutty sweetness. Light citric hoppy flavors come though at times throughout the beer but never really stand out.

A dark orange appearance with a white head. A faint lemon aroma with a slightly bread presence up in your nose. The flavor is slight bitter with a dry dustiness. Some spiced fruit and lemons can be found. Good beer for summer.

Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left sparce lacing on the glass. Aroma of nuts, citrus, lemongrass, lightly sweet caramel, and a toasted douginess. Bready, yeasty, light citrus, grassy, with sweet toffee and a moderate bitterness.

This kellerbier pours a orange gold color from a 750ml bottle, Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and floral. Medium bodied keller/zwickel. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and bitter. Lots of grapefruit and grapefruit rind. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Decent beer, Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

This was a hazy honey color with a big pillowy head that left a mess of lacing... Hops stand out with a floral fragrance, yet give a delicate taste throughout. Notes of citrus rind, light bready malts and honey. This had a lingering grassy bitterness on top of a well rounded crisp finish. A mild, clean aftertaste is quenching.

Pours a dark copper with a monstrous thick foamy white head which leaves excellent lacing. Aroma is lots of floral and spicy hops, mingling well with fresh bread and nuts. Flavor is clean and crisp, with a nice base toasted malt profile, and strong hop flavors. Floral, spicy, and lightly citric finish, much hoppier than I had expected. Very nice, very drinkable. Would be nice if they bring this back in six packs... please?
