Rockstar mixed with crappy beer. My curiosity was peaked, so i tried it, and due to the fact that it doesn't taste like beer at all, or particularly alcoholic, it wasn't terrible, and better than bud or bud light (not that that is saying much).

I must admit to being a fan of energy beers(if you can call them beers). After drinking quite a few of them, I have learned which ones to drink and on what occassions and what time of the day. I must admit my favorite one as being Sparks Plus. Sparks Plus has a true 7% alc. plus what must be a ridiculous amount of caffeine/ginsing/taurine. It's almost like crack in a can. There is a time and place for Sparks Plus but unless you want to be bouncing off the walls all day, only drink 1 or 2. Lately I've been drinking 2 Anheiser/Busch products, both B to the E and Tilt. They are very different drinks. Tilt is kind of like Sparks Jr. or training Sparks. It has a kick and it has some alc. in it but no way is it the same amount of alc. in regular Anheiser/Busch beers. In the alc. dept., it's pretty weak stuff. You're not going to get drunk of Tilt. B to the E is the same way, has a mild kick to it and some alc. but not as much as in regular AB beers. At least B to the E does appear to have started out as a regular AB beer and have some extra stuff added to it for flavor and kick. Sparks and Tilt are completely different. I would not consider them beer as they both have absolutely zero beer flavor whatsoever. So basically, my recommendation is this: If you want to get hammered and seriously pumped up, drink Sparks Plus. If you want to actually drink a few cans and not feel like you've just injested crack, drink B to the E or Tilt. If you want more of a beer flavor go with the B to the E. If you want more of a koolaid/cooler flavor, go with the Tilt.

I'm sorry but this just isn't beer, and it isn't good either. My uncle got me again on turkeyday this year. He has a knack for getting me to finish his bad choices. Long story short he bought a few of these a year ago choked down two and kept the last one. I drank half of the 16 oz can and dumped the rest. Talked my pops into trying it and I quote "I don't think I like that son" exactly, no redeeming qualities pure evil.

This beer poured a light yellow gold with a medium head, the ginsng-caefine addition didn't add anything to the taste, basically it's slightly worse than a bud light orBudweiser

Tried this stuff once cuz some friends of mine had some in the fridge and invited me to try it. Tasted sorta like weird fruits and had no beer taste. The caffeine and herbs may help you get a buzz but this stuff tasted horrible. Didn't like it, glad it was free, I'd never buy it. Go for a sparks or other energy buzz.

This is not a conventional beer by any means, heck, not really even a fruit beer, but its not that terrible, it has caffiene in it, so don't expect much..sweet taste..like a cheap red bull mixed with a cheap pale light lager (bud light most likely). and u can't even slightly detect the alcohol, so thats a plus...

I first have to explain my dislike for this name. If anyone from AB is listenting, whoever created the name B-to-the-E, Bud extra, BE, Bud E, whatever needs to be fired. When I go to the bar to order a drink I don't need to recite a laundry list of names that this drink may or may not go by. *phew* What a terrible name. The first time I tried this "beer" I was disgusted, it was expensive (around $5 a bottle) and had an odd fruity juice+beer taste. So why do I give it such a high score? Well the beer quickly grew on me. At the bar I go to they started to slash the price of B^E to $1 (yes!) so it was a drink I went to often when short on cash. I then began to like it's distinct taste which is of berries and beer, you can taste raspberry hints. The color is shiny gold and the bottles have a "cool" edge to them. The alcohol content is respectably high and the caffenie does indeed work well and keeps you alert and drunk at the same time. I'm not a fan of redbull and vodka but this is a varation on that theme. What I found best for this "beer" which is like a malt beverage (but not as sweet or girly) is that you can add liquor to it! Adding a shot of shnaupps, ameretto, whisky, or another flavorful spirit really makes Bud Extra taste like something special. I recommend this beer as an experiement if you can find this rare beverage. Also try to put liquor into it and you'll see the true power of Budwieser BE. It went from one of the worst beers I had, to one of my favorites. With an open mind and some mixology you might find B^E pretty pleasurable.

B to the E comes in a 10 oz can (thanks for bringing this back from the recent trip to st. Louis). "Beer with something extra" - caffeine, ginseng and guarana extract and natural flavor. Color is clear and yellowy, with a sticky white head. The foam lasted long enough to leave some sticky lace down the glass. Overly sweet smell of berries, fresh clean raspberry aroma - reminded me of a berry cooler. The taste is very sweet, but with no bitterness trying to balance. It is cloyingly sweet with a flavor that matches the berry smells. It left a strange metallic-like aftertaste. Mouthfeel starts is full and somewhat creamy, but leaves a sticky feling in your mouth. Didn't really feel any aftereaffects of the caffeine. Although I didn't really like it, the berry smell and flavor are there, and stay all the way through, there is no mistake of what it is supposed to be.

This stuff is certainly different. Very artifical (fruit?) aroma. It looked like your basic bud. Had bud mouthfeel and a hideous taste. I couldn't drink it. Among the worst I have ever tasted. I don't want caffine in my beer. If I wanted caffine I would drink coffee or a Pepsi. If I had to use a one word descriptor it would be yuck.

This was some decent shit actually. I figured it to be god awful, but it was basically like dropping a red bull in my bud. Had a weird fruity flava to it. i was tired before having it and it woke me up i guess. I would rather have a rockstar and then a beer, not both in one though.
