Pours a nice black body with a very lumpy head that lingers nicely. The aroma is slightly roasty with a bit of chocolate. The body is similar, but doesn’t linger for very long. The body is full by porter standards (but not by stout standards). A very drinkable porter but nothing to write home about.

I had this one on tap at the brick store and i must say that it was fairly good. A nice deep brown color with some hints of black and a dirty off white head. Very creamy and smooth, lots of nut things going on in it and not overly smoked as i notice with some porters. How is this different than a regular porter, what does the organic thing mean?

Poured a dark indigo, violet color with a nice tan head and beautiful lacing. Aroma of caramel, toffee and butterscotch. Roasted taste but also balanced nicely by some sweet butterscotch. This was a real nice porter.
