Nitro-drawn - Black with a dark, creamy tan head. Roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate and coffee aroma. Full, smooth mouthfeel. Among the richest, smoothest winter seasonals this year.

Thanks to BeerandBlues2 for this bottle. Pour was typical for the style, a bit light on the head. Aroma was mostly milky chocolate, some light roast. The flavor was milky, even a touch of lactic, chocolate, faint roast, oatmeal all lost in the flavor, body more slick (only just shy of sticky) than firm, like other nice oatmeal stouts. Either way, thanks again Brad, always a fun experience drinking a new one.

This is my favorite oatmeal stout. I love the complex flavor of chocolate, hops, and anise. They pour this one at the brewery under nitrogen which gives it an even better appearance. I recommend this one to everyone who likes stouts.

Little Brown head with some roasty aroma. Nice Balenced meduim body smoothness. Flavor was a bit to shy on the oatmeal part but had a nice stout flavor. Good Beer

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with a frothy tan head that mostly diminishes and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet lactic chocolate, some coffee and some charcoal and vegetal notes.

The flavor is sweet chocolate, coffee, and some anise with a burnt bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full with low carbonation.

Overall a very nice winter stout. The burnt bitterness balances out the sweet notes nicely.

Darker brown, but not quite black. The head is light tan, creamy but not too large. The aroma is smokey chocolate, with some mild fruitiness and a bit of hops reaching through the malt. The flavor is a bit soda like, but I can't say why, interesting, but a bit thin.

Black pour with a dark tan head. Creamy and roasted malt nose, bitter chocolate and coffee. Nice full mouthfeel, creamy and smooth.Nice hop bite near the end. This is one of the best of the winter brews so far for this year. Thanks Ringo!
