While looking for something dark (cooler temps) at the local liquor store, I came upon this instead and decided to give it a try. Pours a clear light copper/amber color with a small white head. Aromas of grapefruit, mango, fresh wildflowers and sweet malt. Grapefruit leads the flavor with the sweet malt a close second. Mango, orange and wildflowers round out the flavor profile. Despite the strength of the sweet malt, the hops win out in end creating a dry, slightly bitter finish. Oily, medium mouthfeel. Brickstone's regular APA is a winner and this Imperial APA takes the former up a notch. Good stuff. Worth trying.
