Brownish black ale brewed with 250 pounds of malted and flaked rye. The rye imparts a malty, spicy layer to the dry roast, chocolate and coffee flavors in this interesting spin on Porter. Well hopped to balance out all of these bold flavors.

Headed south to Boca Raton to try this beer. Served a brown, reddish tinged colored beer with a small head that disappeared all too quickly. No ringlet and light splotches of film left behind. Bubbles rise to the top as I look onto the top of the beer. An interesting effect. The tasting and nose are pretty simple and straight forward. Roasted malt in a medium to full bodied creamy brew.
