Bottle: Poured a deep golden/light brown color ale with a medium foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of berry syrup with a weird chemical like adjunct. Taste is also characterized by some chemical-like berry and malt. Very unpleasant and definitely not something I am about to try again.

Purchased in Laval at the Dépanneur À Tout Prix. Pours a cloudy light pink-orange colour, looking just like grapefruit juice. White head that stays a while and leaves decent lacing. Nice scent of raspberry purée and Belgian white beer yeast. The mouthfeel is not as tarty as I expected. The taste seems watered-down. You feel a bit of the raspberries at the start, but then goes to some slight bitterness and then goes smooth into a Perrier water taste and feel. Too bad the taste is not richer, as this one could have potential. For now, stick with the Unibroue Ephémère series.
