Gift from Yves. Clear pale yellow, white lasting foam head. Tpical aroma and taste, just a ncie beer for drinking in volume. Had enough German beers for a while, change now. (Velp 201603)

500 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Braustolz Bavarian Seidel a clear golden-orange coloured Helles with a two fingers slightly beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate sweety malts, faint herbal hops, notes of straw. The flavour is moderate sweet, grainy and a quite nice herbal hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is clean and smooth. This light bodied Helles has a faint herbal hoppy finish. This Helles from Saxony is a decent averaging example of the style.
