Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
500ml capped bottle, as a 6.6 % ABV. Poured in the original Braustolz Bavarian Seidel a clear burgundy-brown coloured Bock with a short two fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate roasted malts, riped fruits, plums, raisins. The flavour is roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, plums, raisins, spicy with pronounced licorice. The mouthfeel is slight crispy and quite sweety. This medium bodied Bock has a dry roasted malts finish. A very pleasant Bock from West Saxony in the once German Democratic Republic.
