Very good beer. Raisins and a slight coffeish note in the nose. Definite coffee and cream flavor mixed in with a little grapefruit/citrusy flavor from the hops. It actually leaves a bit of a sour aftertaste when it gets a little warmer. That does little to detract from the overall quality.

Dark earthy brown pour with a very nice roasty nose. Light body, nice roasted malt front with a little nuttiness to it. Fairly sizable bitterness in the finish for a brown.

This is a very light bodied that has a nice roasty nose but a lot more bitter than I'd like to see in a brown.

A moderate brown color with a mildly foamy head. Smells much like a bowl of holiday nuts. Has a very average fully nutty body to it.

I thought this was a pretty decent brown. The clear brown elixir is topped by a little head with some lacing left behind. The aroma is slightly sweet and malty with roasty, nutty notes. The flavor is virtually the same as the aroma but with some hoppy notes. Medium bodied, smooth and slightly
