Poured out a decent bright white cap with excellent retension and tons of lacing. I dumped it into an old tall mug and it seems to me that this glass keeps the brew bubbling non stop - I've noticed this before. Well, tough shit. In this glass, this is one good looking beer and I'm not getting another Special 7. Solid gold brew. The aroma is a soft sweetness with apples, weak barley malt and maybe a faint chemical smell...maybe. Normally with a budget beer I would not say that I want more aroma as usually it's the opposite way around here. This stuff gets the job done when ice cold but it doesn't take long for the crappiness to come out. Boring, plain and watered down with a unappealing bitterness. A touch sour and chemicals. Man, this stuff is still really cold and it just smashed itself into a wall - there is no way I let this warm up. Lots of bitterness. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth. Light bodied. Some of the aftertaste must be comming from the alcohol. Doesn't mask the plastic bitterness at all. Thank God it's so watery cause any ammount of flavour might cause my stomach to implode. Long lasting bitterness.

Pours a pale golden-yellow colour with a white frothy head. Heavy carbonated, keeping the retention in a good way, and leaving a nice amount of lace. The nose is chemically malted. Watery mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. Taste of corn and mild grain malt, but mixed with a big metallic flavour. Not very appealing. Does seem to disappear after a while, but still....
