A right nice American wheat! This one sat in the back of my fridge for 4 years & 4 months, a gift from a friend who quite correctly extolled its virtue. As it was my only one, I thought to save it, but now it's time, and I'm pleased at how well it held its shape. It kept its carbonation nicely, but the sediment ended up pretty clotted on the bottom of the boggle. However, I was able to stir up a bit up it for the final pour, and cloud it up a bit. A nice fresh aroma of banana and clove, a little thinnish on the tongue, with citrus notes, and very tasty and deserving of its high rank in its class. I'll have to get more (somehow)!

Shared 355 ml bottle, as Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer, from the Norwegian importer. No ABV mentioned on the label. Sand coloured beer, moderate white head. Moderate wheaty aroma, just a hint of banana and cloves. Light bodied, plenty of carbonation. The flavour has distinct notes of cloves, hints of banana and bubble gum. Not too sweet. Drinkable, but the Germans do it better.

It pours a cloudy glass, with lots of top foam and aromatics. The flavor was the best, bready and spiced. Shared one with a relative and we both liked it.

A murky yellow colored beer with a fairly large frothy textured, white head rising above. There's some good hang time on the head. A thin incomplete ringlet is left. I'm getting lemons in the nose. That lemon sweetness is balanced by the wheat. Big creamy body.

Picked this up in KC while on a trip to smalltown Kansas. Hazy yellow gold with an aroma of fruity but mild citrus, mostly lemon but I did get a whiff of orange. Sweet & bitter balance is light and refreshing. Wet and tingly, great with salty food. Nothing amazing here, but a solidly decent offering.

Can't believe I haven't tried this one before, but it is a wheat beer which I usually hate. Smells of wheat and little else. As for appearance, it's murky and hay colored. Let's just say as long as it's in the bottle, I am OK with it. Mouthfeel is thin and refreshing. Taste is Fantastic. Lots of wheat, yeast and lemon. Clean finish. I don't usually like wheat beers or Boulevard beers, but this is one of the smoothest drinking beers I've ever had.

Comes out of the tap a hazy, nearly opaque honey yellow with a fairly thick pale buff head. Aroma is wheaty and yeasty with just a hint of lemon, about average but still appealing. Flavor is typical of a good wheat beer, wheaty, yeasty, subtly citrusy. Texture is smooth and fairly fizzy with some good body. A good summer beer.

Pours a very cloudy straw yellow in color with a tall bright white head that quickly reduces and leaves a light amount of lacing. The aroma consistes of light hints of wheat and even lighter amounts of lemon citrus and floral hops. The taste is wheat and some lighter notes of lemon citrus and floral hops. The mouthfeel is light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
