This poured a copper color with a minimal white head. The aroma contains some caramel, toffee, and floral notes. The flavor is rather malty with some caramel, toffee, and a hint of lemons. The finish is rather sweet. Here you have it folks, they did the EPA spot on but I dont care for the style too much.

An amber colored beer. A small white soapy head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace. A mix of sweet malt citrusy hops in the aroma. Nothing overbearing though. The body is thin, smooth and crisp. A big citrus subtly softened in intensity by the sweetness of the caramel malt. Really a good drink.

Sampled on 4/6/2009. This Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, orange and earthy. A medium bodied Pale Ale. This one is much more in the English style of Pale Ale, more malts than hops. The malts are caramel and semi-sweet. The hops are earthy and a touch floral. The carbonation could be a little more prevalent. Its not real hoppy or real malty, but a nice balance anyway. This would make a decent session ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Sampled from bottle. Pours brilliant copper with a thin off-white head an nice lacing. Its aroma is muted with little hop aroma. Balanced and very fruity. One of the poorer examples of a pale ale - quite odd for this brewer.

Pours gold with perfect clarity and airy, fading head. The aroma is fruity with nondescpript hoppiness, honestly--among the worst smelling pale ales I've sniffed. The flavor is fruity too (apples mainly) with a metal can flavor even though I sampled from a bottle. Not altogether gross, but certainly not good beer by my book.

Pours a burnt orange/copper with thick light tan head and excellent lace. Aroma of sweet malts, hops, light licorace, pineapple, and some nuttiness. The mouthfeel is smooth, palatable, although thinning quick. Flavor of malts, hops, bitters, and some spice. Good.

Poured darker brown with a standard head. This better is delicious but nothing outstanding. A good beer nonetheless. We sessioned this beer along other pale ales and this one didn't seem to stand out or take the highest rating of the evening.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a thick off-white head. Light, hoppy aroma. Flavor is not as hoppy as many APAs, and doesn't have the citrus flavor that most do. Tastes fruity (not so much citrus), more like an ESB than an APA. A good beer, yet I'm not sure of the style.

sampler. gold color and light bodied. good head and great lacing. this is basically a "light" version of the hazed and confused. nice complex aroma and taste of hops, but light enough for me to enjoy.
