Pours light amber with a white, semi-dense head. Looks like a light beer but don't let this fool ya! Aroma is all the hoppy goodness one seeks from a beer with hops all over the label. The flavor is powerfully bitter, strong enough to survive any wind-powered voyage to India and back! (But, as delicious as this IPA is, you'd probably drink it all before the return home anyway!)

Poured bubbly and coppery. Aroma is resinous and piney. Oh boy, this is going to be good! Flavor is hoppy but balanced. It reminds me of a Breck 471 IIPA. Good work from a new brewer!

Pours dark brown with a tinge of red when held up to a light. Not much head or carbonation neither. Aroma is powerfully smokey! I didn't think there was much body. The flavor is truly enjoyable with a malty, hardy and woodsy design. There is a mild amount of bitterness but not so much as to overpower the other flavors. I have got to try this with some smoked ham!

I have to admit, I'm not crazy about this beer once I tried it. You have to have a different perspective when trying this brew. Sip it like a whiskey or wine. Savor the complexity. It's still a bit difficult to drink but I like the idea of SA brewing something different.

I've had this a couple times. Just got to sample it again during a tour. Tallgrass's philosophy is to make highly drinkable beer. This beer was very enjoyable. Not much head, average carbonation. Flavor was very calm. Not as much hops as I'd like but it was a pretty decent beverage nonetheless. I look forward to enjoying the other beers they will offer in the future. Made with Kansas ingredients!
