Kinda Blue Blueberry Wheat Beer Released annually in March/April. Perfect for summer, Kinda Blue is as cool as the day is long. A refreshing American Wheat with just the right amount of sweetness, aroma and blueberry. For those beer geeks out there, the blueberries are not added to the mash like many “fruit beers.” Rather, we add the organic Oregon blueberry puree to the cold fermenting wheat beer – much like dry-hopping – which gives this beer subtle notes of flavor. Try some today! 5.2% ABV 12 IBU Malt: Honey Malt, Wheat Malt, Pale Malt Hops: Mt. Hood Pureed Oregon Blueberries

copper in color with a thin white head. lively carbonation, but a little too thin and light for my taste. subtle blueberry in the aroma. really, not much going on when cold. pretty boring. opens up nicely as it warms, but it's a summer beer that you wouldn't think you'd have to let air out before drinking. get's softer with some of the wheat, subtle hops and fruit coming out a little. probably a one timer for me.

An Amber colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head rising above. There was some hang time, settling eventually into a nice soapy ringlet and a light dusting of film. There’s wheat and blueberries in the nose and tasting. Well crafted and pleasant. A light-medium body with a healthy carbonation. Perhaps the best of the blueberry beers I’ve had to date.

Did not work for me. A bit too fruity. Not the best balance. Semi-hoppy finish is decent, but wishing the blueberry blended in better. Actually could be my least favorite from Boulder Beer. Glad that I just bought a single..would have been disappointed with a 6 of this.

22oz bottle. Pours a hazy light copper orange with a smallish white head that quickly diminishes to a thin collar that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is wheaty malts and astringent blueberries.
The flavor is sweet blueberries with some tart notes with some wheaty malt. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and very watery.
Overall, everything about this is very subdued. It's not really offensive, but not very good either. -

It pours a burnt-orange/amber with thin white head and slight lacing. A bready aroma of caramel malts, light hops, oranges, hints of blueberry, and light spice. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of bready caramel malts, light hops, orange and citrus, light blueberry, some tart, and spice. Good stuff, I like how they didn't over-do the blueberry.
