Pale yellow cloudy appearance with a decent head. Lacing was decent the whole way down, but didn’t leave long lasting trails. The aroma was of citrus and some bananas. The flavor was much of the same with spices in the aftertaste. Cloves were absent until the beer warmed. A mildly soapy touch to some of the early sips. Mouthfeel was highly carbonated and refreshing. Nice, but not great.

Poured a hazy orange golden color with a small, white head that left no lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, citrus, and yeast. Taste of tart citrus, banana, spices, lemon, and finishing with dry yeast. This was disappointing because it was so carbonated. The Royal Weisse is one of my favorite hefes, but this didn’t come close.
