Blowing Rock Bock is fermented with a proprietary lager yeast strain and aged for 5 weeks. Typical of the traditional German Bock style, its light copper tone is characterized by a toasty malt backbone derived from a combination domestic 2-row malt and imported German specialty malts.

This beer poured with a dark ruby colored bodied topped off by a small cappucinno colored head. The aroma is sweet malt and hazlenut. Mouthfeel is medium bodied smooth and creamy. The flavor is very rich sweet malts, caramel and nutty flavors.

Pours a dark amber with a small off-white head. It smells of slightly roasted malts and sugar. It has a strong malt presence but it has an awkward "creamy" mouthfeel that was quite a distraction. Not that good.
