A traditional Oktoberfest brew done in the German styling using a Kolsch yeast strain. With slight nuttiness and a touch of toasty notes in the malt body balanced by traditional German hops, this lagered ale finishes smooth and satisfying. At 5.2% ABV and 22 IBU it still maintains a delightful session style status.

Poured a lightly hazed orange-amber with a small white cap. Aroma of toasty malts, some nut and grass tones. Flavour is toasty malts in balance with noble bittering, very lightly sweet but dries out in the finish as it becomes a clean toasty dry with light apple tastes. A pretty decent ale-like approximation of a marzen. Different.
