Sampled on draft at the blind tiger, 08/07. Looks like I got a poorer batch of beer than my KC colleagues. Poured light blonde with a hint of spice. No head or lace. After reading the other reviews - I think I'd better go back & try it again! ;)

Pours clear yellow with almost no head. The aroma is light, clean, limited. Flavor is watery overall with grain and citrus character. Light bodied with gentle carbonation. Real Ale's is still the best rye beer I've sampled.

Sort of a Rye Cream Ale. Poured a deceptively light color (more like the Beast, dansting) but with a nice fluffly head that stayed like an unwanted guest. Nice light mouthfeel with rye slickness, prickly carbonation at first that softens as the beer warms. A very nice lawnmower brew, to be sure.

Came out with little-to-no head and a clear, golden color. Looks like a Miller Lite. Smelled pretty good, with a sweet floral aroma. Average mouthfeel. Tasted pretty good, but not great. Light aftertaste.
