Sampled a fresh pint at the Tap Room. Deep red-brown color, with a nice thin cap of brown foam. Slightly stronger flavored than their Scottish Ale. A good kick of hop bitterness, balanced with some sweet toasted grain. Full body, with lots of different flavors, and an aftertaste that stuck around, waiting for the next sip. Just enough chocolate taste. "Brewed from the finest O.C.I.A. certified organic 2-row malt and organic New Zealand hops." I tend to lean towards darker brews, so I really liked this one from Blackfoot.
