BJ's Harvest Hefeweizen

Nice aromas of banana, and a touch of clove and other spices. Slight haze in the body, o.k. cap that leaves some decent lace. Flavor of banana and straw, there is a musty presence which detracts from it. Overall its not too bad, just wish that musty old sock flavor wasnt lurking about.

pours a slightly hazy pale golden body with mild carbonation and a small white head that reduced to a patchy veil and spotty lacing. The aroms is spicy with lots of clove and some pepper juxtaposed with sweet bubblegum and banana notes. The taste is of bready malt and citrus fruit hop notes up front, followed by a spicy clove character that persists throughout. Finishes with sweet, fruity banana notes and bubblegum sweetness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a light syrupy texture and nicely carbonated.

a pretty good wheat. within it's style, probably one of BJs better offerings. Fragrant and fruity, with a banana clove prescence along with thw wheat. Not bad...

I don't know what exactly I tasted but this beer is absolutely delicious. I taste the banana but i dont know what the hell else it is that makes this beer so delicious.

Hazy golden color with a decent sized foamy head. Citrus bananas, cloves with vanilla and a touch of spicy hops. Slightly bland finish but overall quite refreshing and a decent hefe.

A nice brew. For a corporate brewpub the quality was better than expected. Nice smooth taste with a nice color with limited head. I recommend this brew over some of their others.

Has cloves and bananna whiffs...smooth bitterness...user friendly and not to in your face, that being said..u know what to expect...looks like pinapple juice, little head and lacing.

A very good hefe. I had to ask for lemon, though. I thought it tasted even better w/ lemon. Had it @ the BJ's in Irvine, CA

This was a great american interpreatino of a german hefe. Very wheaty, light, co2, a nice all around hefe, i am impressed that a chain micro could make this ,this good.

Very refreshing. It poured with a nice head with some laceing. The appearance was a yellow/orange and cloudy. The mouthfeel was a little spicy and very refreshing. The flavor was bananas and a hint of clove. It finished nice and dry. I prefer this beer with no lemon. It does not need it. One of thier best.
