This new beer was created in honor of nearby Parma being the only Italian city to resist Fascist occupation. Interesting timing. Del Ducato is legendary for its barrel-aged, wild and sour ales. This is different – a sublime IPA-like creation brewed with Pilsner malt and ample Mandarina Bavaria, Equinox, Chinook, Yellow Sub and Citra hops. Cloudy and fruity (think: sweet citrus, peach, tropical), with initial malt sweetness evolving into a pleasant-yet-pinching bitter finish

Pours clear topaz with a thick and fairly persistent eggshell head. Aroma features tangy citrus, funk, resiny hops, subtle malty and stonefruit notes. Flavor provides sharp and funky resiny hops, zesty citrus and stonefruit, a little fresh malt. Texture offers OK body and perky fizz. Cin cin.
